The new widow brought the heavy box of coins into the
coin shop. She told the owner that her husband had
recently died and she wanted to sell the coins. She
proudly announced that she had made them all real shiny
so they would be worth more.
She did not really notice the look of horror on the
face of the coin dealer. He looked through the box of
coins that had been worth thousands. He kindly
explained to the widow that the coins were now worth
about half of what they were before she had cleaned

To the non-coin collector, a bright shiny coin can be a

state of the coin. The problem is that one of the
primary determinants in the value of the coin is its
condition. You might think the condition is determined
by how shiny it is. However, that would be a grave
error. The condition is determined by the details still
visible with a magnifying glass or microscope.
Unfortunately, those details are many times completely
removed in the process of cleaning a coin with polish
or chemical dipping. Those processes 'clean' by
removing the outer layer of metal.
There are two exceptions to this rule. The first is if
a modern rare coin is actually dirty, not just
tarnished. In that case, take the coin to a dealer and
ask his opinion on the value of the coin and if it
could be significantly enhanced by professional
cleaning. A professional will be able to clean the coin
without any significant alteration.
The second exception is with ancient copper coins. You
may have seen these coins for sale on ebay or another
online auction or coin dealer. They often show crusty,
somewhat ugly coins that may sell for about a dollar
each. These coins can be fun to get and actually much
improved by cleaning methods you have at home.
The best way to clean those ancient coins is with olive
oil. Yep, you heard right! Get a small jar or plastic
airtight container. Put the coin(s) in and let them
soak. The oil will dissolve all that crud on the
outside. Then, several times a year take the coins out
and gently rub them between your thumb and finger.
It may take as much as two years to get the coin into
its best condition. However, it is quite exciting to
see the change from the crusty mess to a finely
detailed or worn coin.

It’s an understatement that being a caregiver for an elderly loved one is stressful. And in general, by the time you accept that you are in the role of “primary caregiver”, the need to help your elderly parent is already advanced. I've got to tell you about a new book that just hit the stands.
And the reason I'm so buzzed is that the author, John Assaraf, is truly
one of the most inspirational men I've ever met.
You may already know him.
His last book was The Secret -- a book about brain science and quantum physics that became such a phenomenal success it was turned into a movie sensation as well.
Brain science? Quantum physics?
Not exactly best-seller material... or so you'd think.

Everything is made up of energy. When you think a thought you cause every cell in your body to vibrate at a certain frequency, almost like a tuning fork or a string on a guitar.
So if you start with a clear and precise vision of what you want, you will "resonate" with people and things on the same frequency.
A belief is a pattern in the brain that has been reinforced through time. We can build up all sorts of beliefs that limit our success or keep us from going after it in the first place. We need to change those.
With repetition and ongoing instruction and action, you can train your brain out of self-destructive beliefs... and re-tune your frequency.
John gives three concrete steps for "tuning yourself in" to success:
Develop a clear and specific picture of what you want. Know what it looks like and feels like. Visualize it. Don't complicate it with details about how you're going to achieve it at this point... this will work itself out.
Create an affirmation: "I have everything I need within me right now to achieve my goal of XX by XX date."
Repeat your affirmation over and over.
John says if you do this often enough and you'll re-wire your brain patterns. You'll believe your affirmation. Pretty soon you'll be thinking and strategizing differently.
And that leads to behaving in the same ways as people who are already achieving the kind of success you aim for. So you'll start attracting the people and materials that can help you... and start getting the results you visualize.
Thought... feeling... belief... behavior... results.

One of the easiest ways to increase your hosting sales is simply to target smaller niches.
This is based upon the proven strategy of specialization, which works especially well for the internet.
While there are millions of customers online looking for hosting solutions, it is easier to target a smaller audience who are looking for specific solutions to their problems.
It is difficult for an affiliate to try to be "all things to everyone." When we try to please everyone, we often dilute our efforts and spread ourselves too thin.

We need to focus and specialize on a targeted niche and try to become an expert in our own more tightly focused market.
For example, instead of targeting on a huge market like golf, you would do better by specializing in a smaller niche like "used golf equipment".
This will reduce your competition in SEO and lower paid advertising costs due to lower competition, while allowing you to serve a smaller and more targeted group of people.
When this happens, you are able to provide specific information and cater your affiliate recommendations to a more precise segment of the market more effectively.

Step #2: Create a review for the hosting product you are recommending
The internet is primarily an information medium and when you give people information to help them take action easier, you will make more commissions.
Remember, few people like to be sold something, but we all like to buy. That is human nature.

Step #4: Provide a time-sensitive affiliate bonus
A simple way to instantly increase your hosting commissions is to give prospects a special bonus for signing up for your recommended program. Incentives work!
For example, you can give them a special report or video tutorial worth $x amount as a bonus if they act on your recommendation.

Do you have any dream killers in your life? Dream killers are those people who discourage you when you are trying to change your life. It's amazing how many people tell their friends and family that they cannot succeed. Ah remember that honey moon phase when you first fell in love? You may have even been in the lust and infatuation stage before you even realized you were in love. You felt giddy, smitten, and were walking on air. Your heart went pitter patter and your breath was shallow whenever you were around your honey pie. You were busy with work and responsibilities, but you would always catch up later, at this phase you wanted to spend all your waking hours with your sweetheart.
But then came love, then came marriage, then came Junior in the baby carriage. And suddenly there are bills to pay; places to be, repairs to be made and you're just tired all the time. "So this is marriage?!" you relent, with a sigh.
Whether you've been married 12 months, 12 years or 32 years, it doesn't have to mean the honeymoon is over. Think back to the effort you made initially when you were wooing your betrothed. You will get what you give. If you give humdrum, day in day out, that's what you'll get in return. If you give romance and spark, guess what you'll get in return?
Forgot how to do that? No worries. Here are ten suggestions to help jump start your hibernating marriage.
1. Drop off a cup of coffee and an apple to your spouse at work. Don't stay; just say you appreciate the hard work and thought he/she might be ready for a break.

9. Switch chores. If you don't normally take out the trash, do it this week. If it's usually her job to do laundry, just do a load.
10. Compliment your spouse often. Don't say it if you don't mean it, but there is always something positive you can say. Whether, "I appreciate you working hard every day for us." Or "That dinner was fantastic." "That outfit makes you look really hot." Whatever - so long as you're sincere and you keep them coming!
